Human Thymidine kinase 2, mitochondrial (TK2) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of human Thymidine kinase 2, mitochondrial (TK2). The assay is specific for natural and recombinant human TK2 and uses a colorimetric detection method. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids. TK2 is a deoxyribonucleoside kinase located in the mitochondrial matrix that phosphorylates thymidine, deoxycytidine, and deoxyuridine, supporting mitochondrial DNA synthesis.

According to the manufacturer's specifications, the detection range is 0.78-50 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.37 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is reported at 5.2% and inter-assay CV at 8.9%. Recovery is 99% (range 93-105%) for serum and 101% (range 95-107%) for plasma. Linearity was evaluated at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma.
