Human Thy-1 membrane glycoprotein (THY1) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human Thy-1 membrane glycoprotein (THY1), also referred to by the synonyms CDw90, Thy-1 antigen, and CD90. The assay is validated for use with human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, and is intended for research use only.

The assay reports a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.089 ng/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 8.1% and an inter-assay CV of 9.4%. Specificity is directed against natural and recombinant human Thy-1 membrane glycoprotein, placing the kit within the immunology research area.

THY1 is a GPI-anchored cell membrane glycoprotein. UniProt annotation indicates it may play a role in cell–cell or cell–ligand interactions during synaptogenesis and other events in the brain.
