Human Thromboxane-A synthase/TBXAS1 ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody assay from Assay Genie designed for the precise detection of human Thromboxane-A synthase (TBXAS1) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. TBXAS1 is an enzyme involved in the synthesis of thromboxane A2, a potent mediator of platelet aggregation and vasoconstriction, and its dysregulation has been implicated in various cardiovascular and inflammatory disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for metabolism research.

Linearity testing in serum (n = 5) showed 85-104% at 1:2, 82-97% at 1:4, and 81-97% at 1:8 dilutions; EDTA plasma (n = 5) showed 86-104%, 84-94%, and 81-100%; Heparin plasma (n = 5) showed 90-104%, 86-101%, and 81-98%. Recovery testing in serum averaged 97% (range 95-102%), EDTA plasma averaged 100% (range 95-104%), and Heparin plasma averaged 96% (range 88-104%). The detection method is colorimetric.
