Human Thrombospondin 1 (THBS1) ELISA Kit

Thrombospondin-1 (THBS1) is a multifunctional matricellular glycoprotein secreted by platelets and many cell types, best known as a potent endogenous inhibitor of angiogenesis and a key regulator of TGF-β activation. Investigators use this Assay Genie colorimetric ELISA to quantify circulating THBS1 in human plasma, supporting studies in tumor angiogenesis, wound healing, fibrosis, cardiovascular remodeling, and diabetic vascular complications.

The kit provides matched capture and detection antibodies pre-coated across a microplate strip format, calibrated against recombinant human THBS1 so results are reported in ng/mL for direct comparison with published plasma reference ranges. Allow all reagents to reach room temperature before use, and limit freeze-thaw cycles of reconstituted standards and the conjugated detection antibody to preserve binding activity.
