Human Thioredoxin-dependent peroxide reductase, mitochondrial (PRDX3) ELISA Kit

Also known by synonyms including Antioxidant protein 1, AOP-1, HBC189, Peroxiredoxin III, Peroxiredoxin-3, Protein MER5 homolog, Prx-III and AOP1, PRDX3 is a mitochondrial enzyme involved in redox regulation of the cell, where it protects radical-sensitive enzymes from oxidative damage and acts synergistically with MAP3K13 to regulate NF-kappa-B activation in the cytosol.

The kit reports a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.079ng/mL. Precision values include an intra-assay CV of 5.9% and an inter-assay CV of 8.3%. Recovery is reported for serum (average 96%, range 90-102%) and plasma (average 98%, range 92-104%). The assay is specific for natural and recombinant human PRDX3 and is classified within the Neurosciences research area.
