Human Thiopurine S-methyltransferase/TMPT ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of human Thiopurine S-methyltransferase (TMPT) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection, delivering a sensitivity of 1.875 ng/mL across a measuring range of 3.125–200 ng/mL.

Linearity has been validated in serum (87–101% at 1:2, 86–104% at 1:4, 86–100% at 1:8), EDTA plasma (88–95%, 83–94%, 93–99%), and heparin plasma (80–98%, 81–98%, 80–100%). Recovery ranges from 92–105% for serum (average 100%), 85–97% for EDTA plasma (average 92%), and 92–98% for heparin plasma (average 96%). The kit supports research into thiopurine drug metabolism, pharmacogenomics, and personalised medicine, where TMPT levels are relevant to clinical response and adverse reactions to thiopurine medications.

Supplied components include a pre-coated dismountable microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody (100X), HRP-streptavidin conjugate (SABC, 100X), TMB substrate, sample dilution buffer, antibody dilution buffer, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, 25X wash buffer, plate sealer, and a technical manual.
