Human Thiomorpholine-carboxylate dehydrogenase (CRYM) ELISA Kit

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human CRYM (Ketimine reductase mu-crystallin), also known as NADP-regulated thyroid-hormone-binding protein (THBP), in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay recognises natural and recombinant human Ketimine reductase mu-crystallin (UniProt Q14894).

Reported performance specifications include a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.1ng/ml, intra-assay precision of 6.1% CV and inter-assay precision of 10.2% CV. Linearity has been evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, with average recovery of 86% (range 80-92%) for serum and 88% (range 82-94%) for plasma. CRYM is a cytoplasmic homodimer that specifically catalyzes the reduction of imine bonds in brain substrates that may include cystathionine ketimine (CysK) and lanthionine ketimine (LK), and binds thyroid hormone as a reversible inhibitor.
