THEM2 (Thioesterase Superfamily Member 2), also known as ACOT13, is an acyl-CoA thioesterase that hydrolyzes fatty acyl-CoA thioesters and shapes cellular lipid homeostasis. This quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie enables researchers to measure human THEM2 protein in experimental specimens, supporting studies of fatty acid metabolism, mitochondrial bioenergetics, hepatic lipid handling, and the thioesterase-dependent regulation of the NLRP3 inflammasome.
