The Assay Genie Human TH1L ELISA Kit is a microplate-format immunoassay used to quantify TH1L protein levels in research samples. TH1L (also known as NELF-CD) participates in the negative elongation factor complex that pauses RNA polymerase II during early transcription elongation, making it a target of interest in studies of gene expression control, chromatin regulation, and cellular stress responses. The assay has been validated specifically for the detection of human TH1L and supplies a pre-coated well plate, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, recombinant protein standard, wash buffer, and substrate solution sufficient for 96 reactions. Investigators typically load 100 µL of prepared sample per well and read the colorimetric endpoint with a standard plate reader after stopping the enzymatic reaction. Reagent components should be stored refrigerated as indicated on the label; reconstituted standards and working detection antibody should be aliquoted to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
