Human TGM3/Transglutaminase 3, Epidermal ELISA Kit

This Assay Genie sandwich ELISA kit is specially designed for the precise measurement of human Transglutaminase 3 (TGM3) levels in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. TGM3 is a key enzyme involved in skin barrier function and epidermal differentiation, and its dysregulation has been linked to various skin disorders and conditions, making it a useful biomarker for research in skin biology and dermatology.

The kit uses a sandwich ELISA, double-antibody format with colorimetric readout. Quoted performance specifications are 0.188 ng/mL sensitivity and a measuring range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. The kit is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

Validation data give recovery in serum of 93–103% (average 97%), EDTA plasma 86–102% (average 94%), and heparin plasma 91–101% (average 95%). Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is 88–105% for serum, 85–104% for EDTA plasma and 87–103% for heparin plasma. The assay procedure involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody incubation at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm immediately after adding stop solution.
