Human TGFB2/TGF-beta 2 ELISA Kit

Designed by Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of Transforming Growth Factor Beta 2 (TGF-β2), this Sandwich ELISA Kit uses a double-antibody format with colorimetric detection. Capture antibody is pre-coated onto the microplate; a biotin-conjugated antibody is used as the detection antibody, with HRP-Streptavidin and TMB substrate producing a measurable signal read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. The concentration of target in the sample is positively correlated with OD450 and can be calculated from a standard curve.

Validated for use with human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, and other biological fluids, the assay has a working range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL. Sample preparation guidelines cover serum, plasma (with EDTA-Na2/K2 recommended as the anti-coagulant), cell lysates, and tissue homogenates; haemolyzed and lipemic samples should be avoided.
