Human TGF-beta receptor type-2 (TGFBR2) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie supplies a high-quality Sandwich ELISA Kit designed for the quantitative detection of human TGF-beta receptor type-2 (TGFBR2). The assay is reactive with human samples and has been validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. Detection is performed by a colorimetric ELISA read-out, and the kit is specific for natural and recombinant human TGFBR2.

According to the manufacturer's datasheet, the kit delivers a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.067 ng/mL. Reported precision values are an Intra CV of 5.3% and an Inter CV of 8.1%. Linearity was assessed in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilution factors of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16; recovery averaged 107% (range 101–113%) for serum and 109% (range 103–115%) for plasma.

TGFBR2 is a transmembrane serine/threonine kinase receptor that forms a complex with TGFBR1 to transduce TGF-β signals, regulating processes including cell growth, differentiation, wound healing and immune response.
