Human TGF-beta-activated kinase 1 and MAP3K7-binding protein 2 (TAB2) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human TGF-beta-activated kinase 1 and MAP3K7-binding protein 2 (TAB2). The colorimetric assay is intended for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 15.6-1000pg/mL, sensitivity of 10pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 4.1% and an inter-assay CV of 8.5%. Linearity has been validated across serial dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 in serum (85-116%), EDTA plasma (97-116%) and heparin plasma (87-112%). Recovery is reported at 86% (range 80-92%) for serum and 88% (range 82-94%) for plasma. The assay detects natural and recombinant human TAB2.

TAB2 is an adaptor protein that links MAP3K7/TAK1 and TRAF6, promoting MAP3K7 activation in the IL1 signalling pathway, with a documented role in heart development. The kit is intended for research use only, with listed relevance to cancer-related applications.
