Human TGF-beta-activated kinase 1 and MAP3K7-binding protein 1 (TAB1) ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human TGF-beta-activated kinase 1 and MAP3K7-binding protein 1 (TAB1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay detects natural and recombinant human TAB1 and is supplied for research use only.

Stated performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL. Precision is reported as an intra-assay CV of 4.3% and an inter-assay CV of 7.5%. Linearity has been assessed in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions, and recovery is reported within ranges of 80–92% for serum and plasma samples.

TAB1, also known as MAP3K7IP1, TAK1-binding protein 1 and TGF-beta-activated kinase 1-binding protein 1, is described as a signaling intermediate between TGFB receptors and MAP3K7/TAK1 with roles in mammalian embryogenesis. Dysregulation of the protein has been implicated in autoimmune disorders, inflammatory conditions and cancer, and the kit is listed under cancer research applications.
