Human TFR2 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of Transferrin Receptor 2 (TFR2) in human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection is suited to research in cell biology, particularly studies of iron metabolism and related conditions such as hereditary hemochromatosis and liver diseases.

Spike-and-recovery values across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma average between 91% and 95%, with recovery ranges of 88–103% (serum), 90–104% (EDTA plasma) and 85–104% (heparin plasma). Dilutional linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 is reported as 86–97%, 87–101% and 82–90% for serum; 87–105%, 85–97% and 80–98% for EDTA plasma; and 90–103%, 86–93% and 86–97% for heparin plasma. The procedure involves a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, a 60-minute biotinylated detection antibody step, a 30-minute HRP-streptavidin (SABC) incubation, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after stop solution is added. All kit reagents are intended to be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
