Human TFPI/Tissue factor pathway inhibitor ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA is designed for the quantitative detection of Tissue Factor Pathway Inhibitor (TFPI) in human samples including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay achieves a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL with a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL, providing a precise tool for coagulation research.

TFPI is a key regulator of the blood coagulation process, functioning to inhibit the tissue factor pathway and prevent excessive clot formation. Dysregulation has been linked to thrombotic disorders including deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism, making TFPI a potential biomarker for these conditions. The kit has been validated with EDTA plasma (linearity 82–101%; recovery 87–105%, average 99%) and heparin plasma (linearity 80–100%; recovery 89–105%, average 95%).

Built on a double-antibody sandwich format, the protocol uses a biotin-labeled detection antibody with HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Kit components are stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months, with selected items also suitable for −20°C storage.
