Transcription Factor E3 (TFE3) is a basic helix-loop-helix leucine zipper transcription factor of the microphthalmia-associated (MiT) family, and quantifying its protein levels is the focus of this quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie. The kit uses matched antibody pairs to capture TFE3 from research samples and produces a chromogenic signal that is read on a standard microplate reader.

Each kit contains reagents sufficient for 96 individual determinations and is intended for research use only. The assay is commonly deployed in studies of lysosomal biogenesis, autophagic flux regulation, and mTORC1 signaling, where TFE3 acts as a master coordinator of metabolic adaptation under nutrient stress.
