Human Testican-2/SPOCK2 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit uses a double-antibody format for the quantitative detection of Testican-2 (also known as SPOCK2) in human samples. Testican-2 is a proteoglycan involved in cellular processes including cell adhesion, migration and proliferation, and has been implicated in cancer, arthritis and neurological disorders.

The assay is colorimetric, with signal developed using a TMB substrate and read at 450 nm. It is reactive with human samples and validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reported sensitivity is 0.188 ng/mL with a measuring range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Kit components should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Spike-and-recovery performance is documented at serum 88–102% (average 95%), EDTA plasma 85–102% (average 92%) and heparin plasma 86–97% (average 93%). Linearity data are provided for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilution ratios of 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8.
