Human Terminal Complement Complex C5b-9/TCC C5b-9 ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of Human Terminal Complement Complex C5b-9 (TCC) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The assay uses a quantitative sandwich (double antibody) ELISA technique with highly specific antibodies pre-coated onto a microtiter plate, employing a biotin-conjugated primary antibody and Avidin-conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) detection system. After incubation with TMB (3,3',5,5'-Tetramethylbenzidine) substrate, the enzymatic reaction is terminated with stop solution and the signal intensity is measured at 450nm. The kit is intended for research use only.

The detection range is 31.25-2000pg/ml with a sensitivity of < 18.75pg/ml. The kit should be stored at 2-8°C for 6 months, with expiry stated on the kit label. The workflow involves sequential steps of sample and standard addition, biotin-labelled antibody incubation, HRP-Streptavidin Conjugate (SABC) incubation, TMB substrate development and absorbance reading.
