Human Tenascin-N ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this human tenascin-N ELISA kit uses a sandwich double-antibody format and is intended for the quantitative detection of tenascin-N in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples of human origin. Tenascin-N is described as an extracellular matrix glycoprotein involved in tissue remodelling, wound healing, and cancer progression.

Reported sensitivity is 0.188 ng/mL, with a detection range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Dilution linearity in serum (n=5) covered 87–99% across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions; EDTA plasma (n=5) covered 85–102%; and heparin plasma (n=5) covered 83–97%. Average spike recoveries for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma were 96%, 92% and 95% respectively. The assay protocol uses a biotin-labelled detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin (SABC) and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm after the stop reaction is added.

According to the manufacturer, the unopened kit is stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months.
