Human Telomerase protein component 1 (TEP1) ELISA Kit

This Assay Genie ELISA kit enables the quantitative measurement of human Telomerase protein component 1 (TEP1) in biological samples, using a colorimetric detection method. TEP1 is a key component of the telomerase ribonucleoprotein complex, essential for the replication of chromosome termini, and is also a component of the vault ribonucleoprotein particle, a multi-subunit structure involved in nucleo-cytoplasmic transport.

The kit provides a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.067 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 3.2% and inter-assay CV is 7.6%. Specificity covers natural and recombinant human TEP1. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. Recovery in serum averages 96% (range 90–102%) and in plasma averages 98% (range 92–104%). Linearity across serial dilutions spans 92–116% for serum, 87–114% for EDTA plasma and 82–106% for heparin plasma.
