Human TEKT1 ELISA Kit (HUFI08382)

The TEKT1 (Tektin-1) protein belongs to the tektin family of microtubule-stabilizing polypeptides that form key structural components of axonemal doublets in motile cilia and flagella. Aberrant TEKT1 expression has been linked to ciliary motility disorders, sperm flagellar assembly defects, and respiratory epithelial dysfunction, making quantitative measurement of human TEKT1 a useful biomarker for reproductive biology and ciliopathy research.

This Assay Genie immunoassay is configured in a 96 Assays microplate format for quantitative detection of endogenous human TEKT1. Each kit includes pre-coated wells, detection reagents, recombinant standard, and substrate sufficient for one full plate run. The assay is calibrated against purified human TEKT1 reference material and is intended for research use only.

Standard curves are generated from a serial dilution of the included calibrator; absorbance is read on a standard microplate reader. Sample handling protocols accommodate small aliquots, and the kit is shipped refrigerated with components stored at 4 °C until first use.
