Human TDGF1/Teratocarcinoma-derived growth factor 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human TDGF1 (Teratocarcinoma-Derived Growth Factor 1) in biological samples. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method in a double antibody sandwich format and is reactive with human samples including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. TDGF1, also known as CRIPTO-1, is described as a key factor in embryonic development and stem cell maintenance and is implicated in various cancer types, including teratocarcinoma, as well as in lung and colorectal cancers.

Components are intended to be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. The protocol includes a primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB color development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after stop solution addition. Reported recovery values in spiked samples are 89-103% with an average of 96% for serum, 88-100% with an average of 95% for EDTA plasma, and 89-103% with an average of 95% for heparin plasma.

Linearity performance has been characterised at dilution factors of 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8, with serum samples ranging from 83-105%, EDTA plasma from 84-99%, and heparin plasma from 84-97% across these dilutions.
