Targeting Transcription Elongation Factor B Polypeptide 3 (Elongin B), this quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie enables researchers to measure TCEB3 protein levels in human samples. The ~13 kDa Elongin B subunit heterodimerizes with Elongin C (TCEB1) to stimulate RNA polymerase II elongation, and it separately assembles into a Cullin-2-based E3 ubiquitin ligase with the von Hippel-Lindau tumor suppressor, a complex central to hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF) regulation. This makes the kit useful for studies in transcription regulation, VHL-associated disease biology, and cancer research.
