Human TBC1 domain family member 1 (TBC1D1) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of TBC1 domain family member 1 (TBC1D1) in human samples. The assay is specific to natural and recombinant human TBC1D1, a putative GTPase-activating protein for Rab family members that is involved in cell cycle and tissue differentiation. TBC1D1 plays a role in insulin-stimulated glucose uptake through trafficking and translocation of GLUT4-containing vesicles, and its dysregulation has been linked to obesity, type 2 diabetes, and metabolic syndrome, situating it within the Signal Transduction research area.

Detection is colorimetric with a reported sensitivity of 0.12 ng/mL and a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 5.8% and inter-assay CV is 8.3%. Linearity was assessed across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma, with recoveries averaging 103% (range 97–109%) for serum and 105% (range 99–111%) for plasma.
