Human TATA box-binding protein-like protein 1 (TBPL1) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative detection of human TATA box-binding protein-like protein 1 (TBPL1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit is reactive with human samples and detects natural and recombinant TBPL1 with high specificity. Detection is colorimetric.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 39pg/mL. Intra-assay CV is 5.9% and inter-assay CV is 8.2%. In recovery testing, serum averaged 106% (range 100-112%) and plasma averaged 108% (range 102-114%). Linearity has been verified for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across serial dilutions. The kit is intended for research use only and is classified within the Neurosciences research area.

TBPL1 is a transcription factor belonging to the TBP family that does not bind the TATA box. It functions as part of a specialized transcription system that mediates transcription of most ribosomal proteins through the 5'-TCT-3' core promoter motif, and also appears to mediate transcription of NF1. The protein localises to the cytoplasm and nucleus. Dysregulation of TBPL1 has been linked to several diseases, including cancer, developmental disorders and neurological conditions, supporting its relevance as a potential biomarker for disease research.
