This Assay Genie ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of human TAMM41, the mitochondrial phosphatidate cytidylyltransferase that catalyzes conversion of phosphatidic acid to CDP-diacylglycerol, a precursor step in cardiolipin biosynthesis. The kit supports research into mitochondrial membrane biogenesis, Barth syndrome-related cardiolipin remodeling, and oxidative phosphorylation dysfunction. Investigators studying metabolic, cardiovascular, and neurodegeneration contexts can probe TAMM41 expression changes to track mitochondrial pathway activity in patient-derived samples. Each microplate is supplied with pre-coated capture antibody, lyophilized recombinant human TAMM41 standards, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, and TMB substrate solution for chromogenic readout on a standard plate reader. Standard assay workflow requires approximately 3.5 hours, with overnight incubation options for improved sensitivity in low-abundance samples. Storage refrigerated at 4 degrees C preserves reagent activity through the printed expiry; unopened kits remain stable for up to 6 months. The kit format supports duplicate or triplicate measurements of multiple unknown samples alongside the standard curve. This product is intended for research use only and is not validated for diagnostic procedures.
