Description

Quantitative measurement of TAF1 protein supports research into transcription initiation, chromatin regulation, and disease mechanisms linked to the TFIID complex. The Human TAF1 ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables measurement of TAF1 abundance in human research samples, providing a reproducible immunoassay format for studies of gene expression control and transcriptional signaling.

TAF1 (TATA-box binding protein-associated factor 1) is the largest subunit of the TFIID complex and contributes to RNA polymerase II recruitment at gene promoters. Altered TAF1 activity has been investigated in the context of X-linked intellectual disability, neurological disorders, and multiple cancer types, making the protein a focus of molecular biology and translational research programs.

The kit is supplied as a complete reagent set in a 96 Assays configuration. Each plate includes pre-coated wells, detection antibodies, standards, and buffer reagents required to generate calibration curves for protein quantification. The procedure is compatible with cell lysates and tissue homogenates, and the workflow accommodates medium-throughput screening studies in standard research laboratories.

Refrigerate kit components upon arrival and protect reagents from light. Allow all reagents to equilibrate to room temperature before running the assay. The intended use is research use only; the kit is not validated for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.

Researchers investigating transcription factor function, signal-dependent gene activation, chromatin remodeling, or the consequences of TAF1 dysregulation can integrate this kit into existing ELISA-based laboratory pipelines.
