Human T3 ELISA Kit

Built around a competitive immunoassay workflow, the Assay Genie Human T3 ELISA Kit delivers quantitative measurement of circulating triiodothyronine (T3) using human serum or plasma. T3 is the metabolically active thyroid hormone and is widely profiled alongside T4 and TSH when evaluating suspected hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, Graves' disease, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, and pituitary or hypothalamic dysfunction.

Each kit contains a 96-well microplate pre-coated with anti-T3 capture antibody, a set of lyophilized calibrators spanning 0.5 to 10 ng/mL, concentrated wash buffer, conjugate working solution, chromogenic substrate, and stop reagent. The run uses a 50 µL sample volume per well, takes about 90 minutes end-to-end, and produces signal read at 450 nm with a reference correction at 620 nm.

The competitive architecture gives accurate readings at both depressed and elevated T3 concentrations without the high-dose hook effect that complicates some sandwich immunoassays. Cross-reactivity with thyroxine (T4) is held below 1%, and recovery from spiked serum generally exceeds 95%. Unopened kits are stored at 2 to 8 °C, reconstituted standards should be aliquoted and frozen if held longer than a week, and the remainder of the plate can be resealed and refrigerated between sessions.
