Human T-cell-specific surface glycoprotein CD28 (CD28) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a Sandwich ELISA Kit designed for the quantitative detection of human T-cell-specific surface glycoprotein CD28 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. CD28 is a critical co-stimulatory molecule expressed on T cells that regulates T cell activation, proliferation, cytokine production and survival, and the kit is positioned for immunology research relevant to autoimmune diseases, infectious diseases and cancer.

The assay uses an ELISA (colorimetric) detection method with a detection range of 0.78-50ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.33ng/mL. Reported precision is an intra-assay CV of 5.3% and inter-assay CV of 9.7%. Spike-and-recovery is documented at an average of 97% (range 91-103) for serum and 99% (range 93-105) for plasma. Dilutional linearity in serum spans 98-117%, in EDTA plasma 90-110%, and in heparin plasma 99-126% across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16. Specificity is for natural and recombinant human CD28, also known as TP44 (UniProt P10747). The kit is for research use only.
