Human T-box transcription factor TBX3 (TBX3) ELISA Kit

Designed for research use, this Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie provides quantitative measurement of the human T-box transcription factor TBX3. TBX3 functions as a transcriptional repressor in embryonic development, limb pattern formation, cell proliferation, and differentiation, and dysregulation has been linked to cancer, developmental disorders (including ulnar-mammary syndrome), and cardiovascular disease. These associations make TBX3 a valuable research biomarker and potential therapeutic target across areas including cancer and epigenetics and nuclear signalling.

The assay uses a sandwich, double-antibody format with biotin-labelled detection antibody binding and HRP-streptavidin (SABC) signal amplification. Color development is achieved with TMB substrate and absorbance is read at 450 nm. Compatible sample types reported across the product literature include serum, EDTA plasma, heparin plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. Reported analytical performance varies slightly between product sheets: one specification lists a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL over a working range of 0.313-20 ng/mL, while another states a sensitivity of 0.13 ng/mL and a range of 0.312-20 ng/mL. An intra-assay CV of 5.4% and inter-assay CV of 9.7% are reported.

Reconstituted reagents and working buffers are stored at 2-8°C and protected from direct light, while the lyophilised standard and microplate strips may also be held at -20°C for longer-term stability.
