Human SYTL4 ELISA Kit (HUFI06214)

The Synaptotagmin-like 4 protein immunoassay from Assay Genie is an in vitro research tool enabling quantitative measurement of SYTL4 in human samples. SYTL4 functions as a Rab27A effector that coordinates vesicle docking and priming during regulated exocytosis of secretory lysosomes and dense-core granules. This biological role makes the kit useful for immunology studies on cytotoxic granule release in CD8+ T cells and natural killer cells, endocrinology work on insulin granule trafficking in pancreatic beta-cell models, and platelet biology research on dense granule secretion pathways.

The assay arrives as a complete kit containing all reagents required to process one full microplate of samples. Pre-coated plate wells capture SYTL4 from prepared standards and unknown specimens; bound analyte is then detected chromogenically. The package includes lyophilized recombinant standards, detection reagents, wash buffer concentrate, substrate solution, stop solution, and assay diluent. Recommended sample matrices are human serum collected in clot activator tubes and EDTA-plasma, which should be frozen at -80°C after centrifugation to preserve native epitopes. Repeated freeze-thaw cycles beyond three are not advised. Each plate provides 96 determinations in a single-use kit format.
