Human Synuclein Gamma ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed to quantify synuclein-gamma levels in human samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a double antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection and offers a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL across a standard range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL.

Synuclein-gamma (also referenced by the synonyms SNCG, BCSG1, PRSN, Synoretin, PERSYN, Persyn, and SRPRSN) is implicated in synaptic function and neurotransmitter release, and its dysregulation has been associated with neurodegenerative disorders such as Parkinson's disease, making it a useful biomarker for related research.
