The Assay Genie Human Syntaxin 8 ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of Syntaxin 8 (STX8), a SNARE-family protein that mediates vesicle fusion events within the late endosomal compartment. STX8 assembles with VTI1B, VAMP8, and STX7 to drive homotypic fusion of early and late endosomes, making the target relevant for studies in membrane trafficking, lysosomal biology, and neurodegeneration research.

Calibrated against recombinant human STX8, the assay is built on paired antibodies immobilized on a microplate, with chromogenic readout produced through an HRP-substrate reaction. The kit ships with all reagents required to complete the workflow in 96 Assays, including coated wells, lyophilized standards, biotinylated detector antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer, substrate, and stop solution.

Reagents should be refrigerated upon arrival and remain stable through the kit expiration when aliquoted and protected from repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
