Human Syntaxin-1A (STX1A) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's sandwich ELISA kit enables the quantitative measurement of human Syntaxin-1A (STX1A) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method, is reactive with human samples, and detects both natural and recombinant human Syntaxin-1A.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.098ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 4.7% and an inter-assay CV of 7.5%. Recovery averaged 102% in serum (range 96-108%) and 104% in plasma (range 98-110%). Syntaxin-1A is involved in synaptic vesicle fusion and neurotransmitter release, and its dysregulation has been implicated in neurological disorders such as epilepsy, Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease, supporting its use as a biomarker in neuroscience research.
