SYNPO2L (Synaptopodin 2-Like) is an actin-associated cytoplasmic protein expressed predominantly in neurons, where it contributes to the organization of the dendritic spine cytoskeleton and the formation of postsynaptic density structures. Quantitative measurement of circulating SYNPO2L levels supports translational neuroscience research, including studies of synaptic plasticity, hippocampal function, and peripheral biomarker discovery for neurodegenerative conditions.

This Assay Genie kit is configured for human serum-type or plasma-type liquid specimens and uses an antibody-pair capture format on a pre-coated microplate with a colorimetric endpoint. Reagents are supplied for 96 individual determinations, and researchers should plan approximately 100 uL of sample per well along with duplicate standard curves for reliable quantification.
