The Human SYNE2 ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative detection of Nesprin-2, a large nuclear envelope spectrin-repeat protein that tethers the nucleoskeleton to the cytoskeleton. SYNE2, also known as Nesprin-2 or NUANCE, is studied in Emery-Dreifuss muscular dystrophy, nuclear positioning, and laminopathy research, where altered expression or mutation contributes to skeletal and cardiac muscle phenotypes. The microplate-format kit provides a standard curve range of 0.156-10 ng/mL and includes pre-coated wells, a serial-dilution standard set, biotinylated detection antibody, and streptavidin-HRP conjugate. Upon receipt, refrigerate the sealed plate and lyophilized standard at 4 degrees C, and aliquot reconstituted standards to limit freeze-thaw cycles.
