Human Syndecan 4/SDC4 ELISA Kit

A double-antibody sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed to quantify human Syndecan-4 (SDC4) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Detection is colorimetric, using a biotinylated detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

Reported analytical characteristics include a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL and a working range of 1.563–100 ng/mL. Dilutional linearity (n=5) is 99–104% / 95–100% / 91–100% at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 in serum, 85–103% / 84–97% / 84–99% in EDTA plasma, and 95–104% / 83–99% / 88–100% in heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery averages are 96% in serum (range 92–105%), 94% in EDTA plasma (range 87–103%) and 95% in heparin plasma (range 90–103%).

The kit is intended for research applications in cell biology, where Syndecan-4 is of interest for studies of cell adhesion, migration, intracellular signalling, inflammation, wound healing and cancer-related pathways. Components should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months, with the microplate strips and lyophilized standard additionally suitable for 12 months at -20°C.
