Human Syndecan 3/SDC3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich, double-antibody ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human Syndecan-3 (SDC3), with colorimetric detection via TMB substrate and absorbance read at 450 nm.

The kit is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reported sensitivity is 0.375 ng/mL and the assay range is 0.625-40 ng/mL. Linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions was demonstrated in serum (88-104%, 87-105%, 91-102%), EDTA plasma (85-100%, 84-95%, 83-101%) and heparin plasma (87-100%, 82-94%, 81-86%). Spike-and-recovery was 85-101% (mean 93%) in serum, 88-100% (mean 95%) in EDTA plasma, and 88-105% (mean 95%) in heparin plasma. Kit components are intended for storage at 2-8°C.

Syndecan-3 is a cell surface heparan sulfate proteoglycan involved in cell adhesion, migration and signalling, with relevance to inflammation, wound healing and cancer progression, supporting its use as a research biomarker.
