Human Syndecan-2 (SDC2) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of human Syndecan-2 (SDC2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is intended for research use only.

Syndecan-2 is a cell surface heparan sulfate proteoglycan that bears heparan sulfate and plays a key role in cell adhesion, migration, and signaling. It regulates dendritic arbor morphogenesis and is involved in physiological processes including wound healing, inflammation, and cancer progression. Known synonyms include Fibroglycan, Heparan sulfate proteoglycan core protein, HSPG, CD362, SYND2, and HSPG1. The kit is specific for natural and recombinant human Syndecan-2 and is applicable to the Signal Transduction research area.

Key performance specifications include a sensitivity of 0.18 ng/mL and a detection range of 0.625-40 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 5.8% and inter-assay CV is 8.9%. Linearity has been validated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across multiple dilutions, with recovery averaging 106% (range 100-112%) for serum and 108% (range 102-114%) for plasma.
