Researchers measure circulating SDC1 as a biomarker of multiple myeloma disease burden, lymphoma staging, and mucosal barrier injury in transplant or sepsis studies, pairing the ELISA readout with flow cytometry or immunohistochemistry confirmation. Each kit ships as a complete reagent set with pre-coated microplate strips, calibrated standards, detection antibody, substrate solution, and wash buffer sufficient for one full plate run of 96 determinations. Compatible inputs include cell culture supernatants, tissue homogenates, and cell lysates prepared from cultured lines or biopsy material. Unopened components are kept refrigerated, while reconstituted standards are aliquoted and stored frozen to limit freeze-thaw loss of the standard curve.
