Human SYK/Spleen Tyrosine Kinase ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit uses a double-antibody method with colorimetric readout for the quantitative detection of human SYK (Spleen Tyrosine Kinase). The kit is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Reported sensitivity is 0.375 ng/mL with an assay range of 0.625–40 ng/mL. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. Linearity has been assessed across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions, with recovery testing giving average values of 94% for serum (range 87-104%), 92% for EDTA plasma (range 89-97%) and 96% for heparin plasma (range 87-100%).

The workflow follows a standard sandwich protocol: equilibrate reagents, set up standards and samples on the pre-coated plate, incubate at 37°C for 90 minutes, add biotinylated detection antibody for 60 minutes, add HRP-Streptavidin for 30 minutes, develop with TMB substrate in the dark for 10-20 minutes, then add stop reagent and read absorbance at 450 nm. SYK is a key enzyme in immune cell signalling, and its dysregulation has been implicated in autoimmune disease, allergy and certain cancers (UniProt P43405), making this kit relevant to immunology research.
