Human Sushi domain-containing protein 2 (SUSD2) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of human Sushi domain-containing protein 2 (SUSD2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is specific for natural and recombinant human SUSD2.

Performance characteristics stated by the manufacturer include a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.12 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 5.5% and an inter-assay CV of 8.2%. Spike-and-recovery has been validated in serum (average 86%, range 80–92%) and plasma (average 88%, range 82–94%), with linearity confirmed across serial dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. SUSD2 is described as a potential tumor suppressor, possibly playing a role in breast tumorigenesis and acting as a cytokine receptor for C10ORF99 associated with growth inhibition of colon cancer cells. The protein is a single-pass type I membrane protein (UniProt Q9UGT4) that interacts with LGALS1 and C10ORF99.
