SUPT5H encodes the SPT5 subunit of the DRB sensitivity-inducing factor (DSIF) complex, which controls RNA polymerase II elongation and coordinates transcription with pre-mRNA splicing and 3 prime-end processing. This quantitative ELISA from Assay Genie allows researchers to measure endogenous SPT5 levels in human serum or plasma, supporting studies of transcriptional pause-release, chromatin regulation, HIV-1 latency, and the interplay of DSIF with factors such as P-TEFb and NELF.
