Human Suppressor of cytokine signaling 3 (SOCS3) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of human Suppressor of Cytokine Signaling 3 (SOCS3) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with human samples and detects both natural and recombinant SOCS3.

Manufacturer data report a detection range of 31.2-2000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 23pg/mL. Precision is given as an intra-assay CV of 5.1% and an inter-assay CV of 8.6%. Linearity across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 spans 84-116% in serum, 92-118% in EDTA plasma and 93-109% in heparin plasma. Recovery averages 101% (range 95-107%) in serum and 103% (range 97-109%) in plasma.

SOCS3 is a key regulator of cytokine signal transduction acting through the JAK/STAT pathway, and its dysregulation has been implicated in autoimmune disorders, inflammatory conditions and cancer. The kit is intended for research use only, within the immunology research area.
