Human SUMO2 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of SUMO2 levels in human samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. The double antibody format uses colorimetric detection and offers a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL across a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. SUMO2 is a key protein in the SUMOylation process, regulating protein function and localization within cells, with dysregulation implicated in cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and inflammatory diseases.

Linearity in spiked samples was demonstrated for serum (86–104% at 1:2; 82–96% at 1:4; 83–99% at 1:8), EDTA plasma (87–95%; 85–96%; 85–98%) and heparin plasma (85–105%; 82–101%; 83–99%). Recovery averaged 98% in serum, 95% in EDTA plasma and 94% in heparin plasma. Components are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

The assay procedure covers reagent equilibration, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin incubation for 30 minutes, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after stop solution addition.
