Aberrant SULF1 expression has been documented in hepatocellular carcinoma, head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, breast carcinomas, and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, making this analyte relevant to studies of tumor invasion, angiogenesis, and extracellular matrix remodeling.
