Human Stromelysin-3 (MMP11) ELISA Kit

A colorimetric Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie designed for the accurate quantification of Stromelysin-3 (MMP11) levels in human serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. The kit targets MMP11, also known as Matrix metalloproteinase-11, MMP-11, SL-3, and STMY3 (UniProt P24347), a matrix metalloproteinase involved in tissue remodelling and degradation of extracellular matrix proteins, with roles in cell migration, invasion, and metastasis. MMP11 may play an important role in the progression of epithelial malignancies.

The assay has a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.15 ng/mL, with intra-assay CV of 6.1% and inter-assay CV of 10.2%. Specificity is reported for natural and recombinant human Stromelysin-3. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Reported recovery is 102% for serum (range 96–108%) and 104% for plasma (range 98–110%). The kit is intended for research use only and is suited to studies in cancer and matrix metalloproteinase research.
