The STRA6 protein (stimulated by retinoic acid 6) is a transmembrane receptor for retinol-binding protein 4 (RBP4) that mediates cellular uptake of vitamin A (retinol). This quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie enables measurement of circulating STRA6 in human blood-derived specimens, supporting research into vitamin A homeostasis, retinal biology, and metabolic disorders such as type 2 diabetes and obesity where altered RBP4-STRA6 signaling has been implicated.
