Human Stathmin 1/STMN1 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is intended for the quantitative detection of human Stathmin-1 (STMN1) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Stathmin-1 is a key regulatory protein involved in microtubule dynamics and cell proliferation, and aberrant expression has been linked to cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, and other disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for research in oncology, neuroscience, and related fields.

The workflow includes reagent and plate preparation, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm. Reported linearity at a 1:2 dilution is 87–104% for serum (n=5), 83–99% for EDTA plasma (n=5) and 82–93% for heparin plasma (n=5), with corresponding recovery averages of 94%, 99% and 94%. The kit is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
